There used to be a whole monastery of religious comic strips, Brother Juniper, Brother Sebastian, Sherman on the Mount, Our Parish, Tales from the Great Book, Theophilus, The World of the Bible & Sister Sarah Says among them. Alas where have they gone?

I haven’t seen Brother Juniper in decades! I believe I remember him from the early to mid 1960’s in one of the San Francisco papers. I still think of him now and then (such as one comic when he and another Brother were pushing a huge barrel and he made a comment about how the drink [wine? brandy?] was great but he hated returning the empties).
