Hmmm, I think I have more neckties than computers, but the ties I haven’t used for more than 25 years.

So I use more computers than neckties… and that’s what counts.

Okay Kath, but it has to have some Star Wars stuff on it.

Given how many geek themed ties there are out there, I find it hard to believe he only owns one. Especially Star Wars and Star Trek.

I’ve purchased far more computers than ties, but my own “Kathy” has ensured that I own more ties than computers.

I have a hard time getting rid of old computers. I still have my VIC20, C64, 128, Amiga, 8086, 8088, Pentium 4, Tandy TRS80, and others. A veritable museum. lol

Add up the embedded ones, and it’s likely everyone owns more computers than necktie.

Get a bow tie. Bow ties are cool.

I have like a 22 inch neck. I rarely wear ties. And yet, somehow I accrue them. Like clothes hangers.

I guess I have 3-4 ties. But I’ve never had to wear one to work, with the exception of a few (optional) “dress-up” days. Some of the ties actually match other stuff — allowing for artistic license.

I own one necktie and I’ve worn it twice in the past 40 years.

Personally, I prefer not to have to wear one. And I rarely ever do. But I have a few nice ones that my wife approved for when a tie is needed. I defer to her taste.

I have a friend who does not have a computer, and if he has even one tie, I’ve never seen it.

The last time I wore a tie was when I went to court-martial. It was borrowed.

I find it hard to believe that Kathy puts up with Roy’s behavior and naivete as much as she does. She is obviously a comics character, because no real woman could maintain her sanity or even her composure around someone like him.

After leaving a 20+ year sentence in corporate life, rif’d, and transferred to drive a school bus for the next 20 years, my tie collection gathers dust in the closet. They clashed with my t-shirt uniform. I wear a Looney Tune themed one on the rare occasion it’s required. No regrets.

As a confirmed geek since before there were home computers—I belonged to the math club in 8th grade—I wouldn’t be caught dead in an Apple store.

Who needs more than 2 ties? A light one for weddings, a dark one for funerals… done!

I have 6 or 7 ties. I have way more computers than that, though I am not sure what counts as a computer these days. There’s my laptops (1 for work 1 for home), 3 desktop (2 acting as servers, one as a media computer). A bunch Raspberries computers which should count. Table/phone probably count. Video game consoles might count. kindle/smart tvs (they do have a browser). Smart devices, they are all on the wireless network.
