And thus proof that the US doesn’t have any local cuisine? By the way, what ancestry do they have, maybe some delicious haggis would go down well?

People are overly sensitive about everything these day. Chill out and eat what you want

I don’t want to go off on a rant here…but why is making food that originated in another culture a bad or “insensitive” thing? If you told me that people in France were eating hamburgers, I wouldn’t be offended. That’s how America became such a melting pot that welcomes all cultures! We eat food from all over the world! I know Wiley is taking this to the humorous extreme, but real “cultural appropriation” is when you take something from another culture and represent it as a stereotype of that culture, like “blackface”, “yellowface”, “ebonics”, clothing, costumes, etc.

Oh, well, I guess anybody can take anything to an extreme, but it would be hard to convince me that preparing and serving tacos or biryani or rouladen is culturally insensitive.
