I once saw a mouse stuck in a glue trap, still alive, discarded in a trash can. The poor thing was so pitiful, stuck and stuggling.. . It was really sad. I wondered what would eventually kill it; the trash truck, suffocation or starvation. It seemed terribly inhumane. Poison is also a slow and agonizing death for them, not to mention that…. IT’S POISON!
When faced with NO CHOICE but to ‘take out’ a mouse, nothing is more effective or humane than a good old fashion mouse trap. (I do, however, recommend peanut butter instead of cheese). They need to work at getting a mouthful. . and THWACK! … old style traps are also cheap and can be used again and again.
