Let’s face it: Adam is just unable to relate to people. Better he should return to his “career” as a hack writer.

Tip? I can get a tip? Wow, thank you very kindly ma’am I will adjust my attitude accordingly.

As one who drinks tea ( coffee doesn’t like me) no tip would be my choice.

Adam, go back to your booth, break out the laptop and figure out the writing thing. You DO NOT belong behind that counter!

Having been a steady customer for years is apparently not sufficient on-the-job training… OTOH, if you’re desperate for help you may throw him on the floor without him being familiar with the menu board on the wall.

I’ve started making my iced tea using white tea. It’s working well thus far and doesn’t get the bitter aftertaste some dark teas do.

Did Andre train him at all, or just throw him into it?

In my experience, the green tea people are not great tippers. :)

I never go to coffee shops. And if I did, I sure as h*** wouldn’t order hot tea. Imagine tea made from their coffee scummed equipment!
