When you do the cooking and she knows how anal you are there are bound to be questions.

I’m fairly paranoid, and I don’t see her actions as patronizing. Instead, I took it as a comment upon the astounding wealth of choices that we have in the modern United States. We live in abundant times, and I am always thankful.

When I cook, I cook; when my wife cooks, she cooks. The kitchen layout works well for ONE person.

Arlo, she is paying tribute to your advanced taste and discriminating choices as a chef. Take the honor as it is meant and be humble!

Next time you use sea salt, just remember that it is just sodium chloride plus fish poo.

I’m impressed that Janis can wave a cast iron skillet above her head. All those aerobic walks must be having a positive influence.

The cheap table salt is also sea salt: it comes from salt mines that were once dried up sea beds.

My beloved doesn’t like if I say it doesn’t matter, so she makes me choose. I always pick the first thing she mentions so she is scared to list any, knowing the first one mentioned will be my choice.

Sea salt lacks iodide, a necessary nutrient.

My husband has a problem with choosing between chicken noodle or vegetable soup (both canned) for dinner, let alone – "What do you want for dinner?’ Tomorrow though will not be a problem for either – I have beef vegetable soup (from scratch, not canned) for dinner as the main course and who would have soup before they soup? This is his latest favorite meal.
