I hated biology before or after lunch especially if it was a lab day. I was fortunate to attend a school where there was a rotating class schedule so no class was at the same time every day. But still, the smell of formaldehyde or thoughts of the upcoming dissection was not the best to take with you to the cafeteria.
Similar situation with my son during a spelling bee. The word was profit, he spelled prophet. Too bad there’s no credit for spelling the more difficult word…
