If there’s one thing that I have learned from watching 60 year-old episodes of “Perry Mason” and 20 year-old episodes of “CSI” it is that you never leave incriminating fingerprints on the weapon.
I’m honestly surprized that Hammie is aware that anything bad (or even interesting) is happening here. The concept of an unflattering haircut as anything other than a minor inconvenience is one that would only occur to people who are worried about their appearance, which Hammie generally doesn’t. It would have been more in character if he had got bored and wandered off after Monday’s strip.
I did that to myself as a kid (almost 50 years ago) the morning we were taking Christmas pictures. The only time I was proactive about a haircut as a kid.
Wren’s going to look cuter than ever. If I were to give Zoey heck for anything it would be for having such sharp scissors and holding them so near the baby’s face. It’s irresponsible of Wanda to leave them where a child can get a hold of them

Hammie run away as fast as you can.

I’m sensing this is a ploy by the cartoonists to give Wren a new hairstyle.

Keep cutting and it will even out – maybe.

I predict someone is getting a major timeout.

She’s too young for a receding hairline.

You better not take those scissors, Hammie. You get into enough trouble as it is, no sense in being blamed for Zoe’s actions.
iggyman 12 months ago
Zoe is trying to shift the blame!

Actually super short fringe bangs are having a moment right now. Ugly and stupidly dorky but that doesn’t matter.
saylorgirl 12 months ago
Run Hammie, Run away fast especially to mom so you won’t be blamed.

I did that to my own hair as a child, and so did my daughter years later. Too funny! It seems to be a rite of passage!

Ah! So that’s why he’s here! Designated scapegoat! For best result, use one that already have a criminal record!

It’ll look a lot better once Zoe evens out the back and sides…

Zoe doesn’t remember how angry Wanda got last time she cut Wren’s hair?
medaman15 12 months ago
They actually went through with it?! LMAO. It’s over for Zoe.
kappy.mrnustik Premium Member 12 months ago
Did this to my sister. She was old enough to be unhappy with the results. And has never let me forget it.

Hammie, run for your life. At this time of year even close proximity will get you nothing but coal for Christmas.

Now it is Wren’s turn with Zoe’s hair!

My guy cousin and I cut each other’s hair as kids. Punishment back then was a sore bottom for each of us.
