The Ballard Street Little Boating Society, as you can see, is very exclusive. But they have an opening right now for one more member, since Harvey quit.He didn’t want to leave…. but he gained that extra 45 pounds last winter… Steve and Andy spent the whole opening season making remarks about the crowded conditions on the “lake” … and Harvey finally took the hint.They told me the new member must be under 183 pounds and fit into one of the new size medium BSLBS sweatshirts Andy’s wife Thelma is decorating with some of that “embroidery paint.”Personally, I think they all missed the boat.

Think Steve and Andy will let me join?I have my own boat.

I’d think they’d be proud to have you, X, … especially if you bring the keg.And if there’s still anything in it.

I’ve seen many guys in the past with little boats that they navigate remotely (not actually riding in them).

Going on the 3rd day that the peahen has decided to hang out right on the threshold of my patio door. I still have not found out what she best likes to eat (of things I have on hand). I tried shredded wheat this morning (I ate 2 with 1/2 banana and some almond milk) but she showed little interest.

I think perhaps Captain Linguist has found a happy port with his Portuguese sweetheart and has no more time (or online opportunity where he’s located) to participate here. I’m happy for him.

Doh, on the other hand, must have tangled with a t-word and we should begin a protest as we have for others who were wrongly banned.
