Neither do I.

Millipedes commonly have 30 to 400 legs, max c. 750. Centipedes have 20 to 300. neither has 1000.

are they all squished on the back of the leaf?

Granted, they were really reaching for this one, so write it off already but don’t flog it to death.

Actually the amount of legs is not what decides a millipede versus a centipede. Centipedes have one set of legs per body section and millipedes have two sets.

Perhaps the last ant is named Millie Pede?!!

Ants have 6 legs, and 2 pinchers, and 2 antanee … therefore, each has 10 ‘items’. 10 × 4 ants = 40 so I guess I can see where they are going.

Okay I get it……uh …..yeah…wait …no ….all this math everyone is talking about. So the ants had epoxy on their heads and the leaf stuck to them …and then their legs….hmmmm

All you people are WAY too literal here….. OK, so he saw this leaf walking along, you see… and he can’t figure out why a leaf can move …….

It might have worked if it showed the ants all jumbled and still stuck to the leaf….otherwise….this one is too far out for me!!!

I’m lost too…especially when you take Thor’s reaction to it. If a leaf squashed the ants (which is physically impossible), then why is he looking so shocked about it? This one should have gone into the trash bin.

The punch line of a joke I heard once was: “Social Security”. Somebody said, “I don’t get it.” And the response to that was: “Right. And you won’t until you’re 65.” … I think this strip is something like that.

If they’d just drawn little ant legs sticking up from the leaf, all this confusion could’ve been avoided.

Well, Mastroianni and Hart seem to have “stumped the band” (though it’s probably not a good idea to confuse your readers). Now, do they get a prize?

I think I get it. They second scene he is looking at the leaf, rubbing his butt. The leaf just hit him and he to all the other ants to “attack” there for the guy said millipede cause of all the foot prints.

We are probably too smart for this, maybe Moose Mason could explain it to us.

Now, if there was a foot entering the upper right corner of panel #2, it works. But since there is not, ???
