Considering the level of self-harm we are collectively willing to do to ourselves when you look at planetary destruction – I think we lost that a while ago

Sadly, the super-intelligent race of hyper-ants destined to rule the Earth was wiped up with the Dinosaurs by the deadly giant meteor. Dim-witted mankind took advantage of the situation and……

The mants also have that infecting intelligence enhancer virus wasn’t much help since the hybrids were intelligent enough and got access to the molecular factories to generate the technology. Maybe the ant part was enhanced giving them a boost greater than the humans’ native intelligence as engineered.

Mants are man + ant engineered hybrids to survive the horrible heat.

The Human Race is the #1 Apex Predator on the planet, that doesn’t require a lot of intelligence.
