That’s the ugliest cockroach I’ve ever saw.

Do they say “goo” in insect med school? For shame!

That goo under the shoe will be the death of you.

Oh, yes they do! In some latitudes they get as large as humming birds and one must swat rather than stomp!

They not only have wings, but they make chirping noises if they are injured. When my cat catches one, I have to kill it out of sheer pity.

It doesn’t look good, there’s even a long face on his chest/belly.

I see a plate of goo on the table. It must be for a transfusion.

Better to just let him goo.

A shoe is more effective than Raid. Oh, we call them “Palmetto Bugs” here.

The roaches I have seen have wings. They just don’t fly.

But they do squish a lot of goo! Blech!!

When I’m helping a student with a dissection I might refer to it as “fat bodies” but am just as likely to call it “goo.”

Looks like standard hospital food on the table to me.

Nasty things DO fly and swim too. I spray them with any normal cleaner (most have things that affect exoskeletins (sp?)) and while they are disabled, squash them with bottom of spray bottle, then dispose of in garbage- stink to HH! They come in from patio doors as well as garage, so a problem in many seasons- even a problem in the pool ;-(

They sure do, and they can fly!
