Cue the Attack of the 50-Foot Elvis.

Elvis, they’re called “human interest” stories. Not cat interest stories, those would be about bacon and red dots and stuff like that.

Is there a little person hiding in the bottom of Lupin’s mouth in the last panel? (I know, it’s Lupin’s tongue and lower fangs. But it also looks like what I just described.)

I love the “facts” and “more facts” – lighten up, Elvis! Deal with fiction for once!

Cutest Lupin toe beans in panel 2! Too adorable! I am still stuck on how squee panel 2 is with Lupin and the toddler looking so gleeful! They are tearing up the town! :D

Haha!! The last panel really describes the Boys’ personalities well: Frustrated, serious, fact-driven Elvis; concerned, benefit-of-the-doubt, personally interested, soft-spoken Pucky; and adventurous, imaginative, I-live-on-the-edge and laugh-in-the-face-of-danger Lupin! :D

I was going to post this yesterday, but didn’t get time.Japanese monster films follow a consistent pattern. Prof. Tanaka warns something terrible is coming. Government officials (corrupted by evil businessmen) ignore his warnings. Monster turns up. Mayhem. Authorities helpless. Prof. Tanaka devises means to defeat monster. Handsome young Air Force officer Sqd. Ldr. Keiji Osanai, assisted by beautiful Michiko Tanaka (all scientists in all films, not just Japanese monster films, have beautiful daughters) defeats monster, gets off with Michiko. (Lucky sod.) Prof. T or some other prosy beggar finishes film with a moral/warning.

Oh Elvis, you are seriously in danger of turning into the feline equivalent of an old fogie! They are just having fun. Look at the joyful expressions on their faces. Surely you remember fun. You were a kitten once, too. Drop those folders and go boop a couple of train cars or buildings. You might even smile!

C’mon Elvis, every local news station has fluff stories to go along with the important news – you need to chillax.

I realize that this is hard to believe, and I can’t believe that I’m saying this, but . . . I think that this time Elvis is wrong! Yes, you heard it here first, folks: Elvis has misspoken! The goofy stuff Lupin does is news!

Oh, and Elvis, it’s a FACT that you might want to look behind y… Never mind, it’s too late and you’re about to find out anyway. Puck, you probably should take a couple of steps back.

From the “Facts” file: the number of followers for BCN has crossed the 9000 mark!

Good morning and happy Thursday/Purrsday, gentle orbsters and orbabies. I hope nobody was too concerned at my absence yesterday, a 4-hour session at the hospital turned into a 10-hour ordeal when the clinic that was to give Paul his PET scan ran out of contrasting dye and had to wait for more to come in. When we got home, there was a message on the answering machine asking us if we wanted to reschedule his appointment! (In the “now they tell us” category!). Anyway, we survived, came home, had a sandwich and tumbled into bed.

I love Lupin’s pose and expression in the last panel. Look out, Elvis, you’re about to be Fluffapurrus Rex’ed!

Lupin’s one and only life goal seems to be to troll his brothers. I can respect that.

Oh, Elvis, you’re SO wrong about the goofy stuff Lupin does. Not only is it news, it’s headline news. Cat of Adventure Pounces Anchorcat—film at 11!!

As of right now BCN has 9000 followers (I have seen the number go down sometimes so it is possible it might not stay there, but it never goes down for long).

It’s no different than the Big Three Evening news.

Anybody seen Bill Thompson? Haven’t seen him for some days, not on the other site where I comment as well. Just asking. I hope he’s doing well.

Elvis, this falls under “light-hearted human interest stories” that they fill up the last 2 minutes on to make people feel better after all the death and destruction in the first 28 minutes.

I especially like the first two panels. The first where Fluffapurrus Rex and Kidzilla look like wicked little cherubs on a mission to wreck the town. The second they are back to being Lupin and The Toddler having so much fun.
