I mentioned this late yesterday but thought I’d ask again. Has anyone heard from Shaunnmunn lately? We miss your sparkle, Shaunnmunn, hope everything is okay.
Megan spoke for about twenty minutes, with Baywolf nodding in agreement every two or three. She then called her team and their new ally together. “Baywolf, I thank you for helping us in this plan. You are such a good boy. You know there is a danger, and you are still going to help us. That’s so like a dog. You, helping a group of strange cats fight Humans- and possibly other dogs. Remarkable. My hope is that, if we are successful, word will travel from the center of this pond to its shore. It may take years, but let us be that tossed stone. Kids… let’s create some ripples.”
Poor little Puck! I get the same look from Lucky when his favorite Mousie is stuck under the couch… until it is retrieved with a handy t-square for a joyous reunion! Courage Puck, the Buzzy Mouse rescue is formulating!
Good morning and happy Hump Day, orbsters and orbabies. Poor sad Puck, bereft of his friend. Lupin and Elvis are concerned for him, each in his own way.
Well, I did get all my running around done yesterday. I not only picked up all the assorted odds and sods I wanted for Paul’s birthday tomorrow, including a pointsettia, an amaryllis and some cat grass for Yum Yum, but I picked up our bubbly for Christmas and New Year’s mimosas! If the gods are kind, I won’t have to stick my nose into a store until after New Year’s day. It’s getting crazy out there, folks!
always love Elvis’ righteous indignation. poor Pucky so bereft, he’s lucky to have such caring friends in Tommy & especially Lupin today. I know this is all going to work out for good, but this part is sooooo difficult to get through. Sophie, my sister, you need to come out from behind the books sometime. you can’t keep hiding behind them so that you don’t have to interact with real life. not that i would understand that or anything, ya know. Happy Wednesday everyone, I hope you all find many moments of joy throughout today!
Onyx went back to the Dreaded V.E.T. yesterday. Her sugar is still high but it’s coming down, partly due to the canned-food diet & partly because she’s less stressed now that she’s been in her new home for a while & is bonding with sis (who says “she follows me around like a puppy,” LOL). So she gets a reprieve from kitty insulin for now. The Dreaded V.E.T. wants to check her again in 6 weeks & will decide then if she needs medication. In the mean time, mom & I won’t be having to give her shots while sis is away for the holidays. YAY!
See the hurt and sadness on her face? The things some of you are saying now would cause that same hurt and pain if she were to see them.
At this point in the time line, Sophie has never met or corresponded with Puck. She doesn’t know how attached he is to Buzzy. From her point of view, a cat toy has gone missing. Cat toys go missing all the time. What’s the big deal? Why does Thomas get so excited and loud all the time, especially when I’m in the middle of a good book?
See Georgia’s tweet below…the designs she was selling on Etsy are now available as cards etc on Zazzle. Just in time for Christmas and on sale too. So if you missed buying a signed original, at least we can enjoy the card versions.
Georgia just posted on her Facebook: "I wrote out all the listings pretty late at night and somehow I just left these paintings out completely! When I finished packaging all the orders, these were still left in the pile, staring back up at me! Oops!!
Sooo, my mistake could be your good luck? It turns out there’s one more chance to own some original BCN artwork in 2018! I’m going to list these in the shop tomorrow at 9am Pacific Time!"

What use is a candy cane – no matter how large – if you can’t share it with your best friend? Oh, despondency.
DennisinSeattle about 6 years ago
Lupin knows he cannot cheer him up, and that makes him sad.
Guys, the Robber Mice Gang has been robbing you blind!
cat19632001 about 6 years ago
Ok Sophie – usually I’m one of your biggest fans but you need to put down the book and at least look around you to see if Buzzy might be there.

A candy cane is a poor substitute for a Buzzy Mouse… :(

Local cats pledge to (quietly) do their part to locate the missing best buddy.

Tell all the outdoor mice that THEY get a “wheel of cheese” if they bring in this Gang and leave them lying on the front porch!

Sheer genius how Georgia puts so much emotion into Puck’s face and posture in the last panel. Oh how I feel for him—I know exactly how he feels.

At least Burt clued them in. Elvis is finally ready for action. His friend is sad and no one messes with his friend.
