Aw, jeez … I feel a bit torn … it’s adorable how seriously the Elvis is taking his duties, but I do want the Robber Leprecauns to have their chocolate booty …

What was Elvis called before? Dad Cat, wasn’t it? At least the Boy is kind of getting his name right now.

Nobody’s getting past Elbiff Mow Mow!

I’m seeing a bit of circular logic here. The purpose of the trap is to catch a leprechaun. Does guard the trap mean keep leprechauns from entering the trap or keep them from exiting once they are trapped? If Elvis keeps them out of the trap, then the trap will be empty and the kids will be disappointed not to have caught a leprechaun. What’s a guard cat to do?

Notice the ladder in panel 2. Georgia’s attention to detail once again.

Elbiff, it’s not a trap unless you let them in.

In the last panel, at first I thought it was something like the Bat Signal, but the mice are just shining a flashlight on Elvis.

Do what cats do, Elvis. Pounce upon the mice and eat them!

Is Beatrix watching the streaming coverage of the leprechaun trap? Because I’m pretty sure that after her disappointment last year, she’d want to see if any actually show up.

The Boy and the Girl look so cute in their green St. Patty’s Day clothes. Meanwhile, Puck’s green tie works for a number of festive occasions.

Mice, meet Elvis. Elvis was born to guard. Carry on.

His name is Mow Mow – Elbiff Mow Mow and he doesn’t like his tuna water either shaken or stirred.

I would like a tiny flashlight so small that the mice can hold in a paw, and still so bright. It would be a great add to my ultralight backpack. I wonder what kind of battery it uses.

Note to Robber Mice: a cat caught in flashlights does not react in the same way as a deer caught in headlights.

“Elbiff Mow Mow” is almost better than “Dad Cat”.

Normally in a cat/mouse facedown I’m firmly on the cat’s side. But here, it’s more of a cat/chocolate-lover facedown. I gotta go with the chocolate lovers.

Today is Panda Da Da Da Day! Don’t get bamboozled (unless you are a panda).

Bears demand equal time. It is not enough that we frequently have a bear of a day. By the way, happy Monday.

Ot. As of today all gatherings over 50 people can not be held in the state a live in and any gatherings under that they have to meet health code stuff and be 6 feet apart

The touch of the little ladder leaned up against the “tap” is just another example of Georgia’s special genius.

They want to catch a leprechaun, but they want Elvis to keep it away? Child logic.

So thankful to Georgia for this wonderful comic. I need it and the smiles and laughs it provides in this scary time. I hope everyone is taking precautions and staying safe. I’m trying to go out as little as possible.

You can always count on Elvis.

Elvis will not Faugh a Ballaugh. He shall stand as firm as Iron. And just so the robber mice know, he is not from Vermont, although after his first encounter with the elephant when they first met, he might be an invalid serving light duty.
