I have one question: what are the two black objects in the third panel?

I’m sure my cat reads this comic. He’s already sent my insulin syringe flying of the table, a ballpoint and the tv remote and batted them around the floor. He’s getting inspiration from somewhere.

My wife quit trying to put things up for the holidays, cuz the CAT would jump on the shelf look her in the eye and knock them off then wait for her to put them back up and do it again, I was smart enough to stay out of it.

In a world full of uncertainty, it’s so nice to see some things can be counted on to never change. If it’s a pretty decoration, Lupin will destroy.

Or maybe, just maybe, there is thick carpeting on the floor so the bunnies hit the floor but don’t shatter.

My wife’s aunt had an uncle who helped re-rig the museum ship, CW Morgan. I spent weeks building and rigging a model of it that I gave to her. She had a cat. The boat made it a whole two days. Took me a week to untangle that mess. And another to make a cover for it.

Oh, Lupin. Sometimes humans just have to resign themselves to having to clean up the “messes”. Some cats just can not NOT push things off of other things. ::sigh:: the Annoying Little Animal’s worst habit was pushing things off. It was the one I could not “modify” (he came with a lot of bad habits – his original person paid me $20 to take him. He was a problem child. ) He was the reason I couldn’t have nice things. He took great joy in pushing things off other things. I suspect he was proud of his skill. He was the sweetest, dim-est, clingy-est, would die protecting his food, his house, and possibly me cat I have ever had. I will never be loved like that again. I miss that little guy.

this is the point where “you can’t have nice things” comes into play when you have a cat like Lupin. This is where the heartache begins again.

To be fair, I’ve known cats that would not behave like that. I did have a fat silver tabby named Boots, who would jump from the arm of the sofa, to the top top of thelow cabinet we had by our front door. Why was this funny? Because she would land, and then slide face first into the wall… And she kept doing it! :lol:

This is the reason we can’t have nice things. Also called it. Lupin says it’s bunny season.

I approve of Lupin’s taste in music.

I have a 1960s Lladro that Romeo thinks is his very best friend. We’ve just moved into a new apartment and currently the figurine is in a cabinet. He regularly tries to get in there and upon failing, he stretches his paws against the glass pane and wails. It’s pretty hilarious.
