Crinkly tunnel joy of joys

When I squeeze you, you make noise

Crinkly tunnel you’re my very best friend it’s true

Fun cat toy: Loosely wadded up cellophane (the old fashioned, very crinkly kind) with a layer of light cloth around it stuffed into an old sock, tie the end with dangly cord and festoon with a couple of pieces of feather boa rope from a craft store. My Onyx loves to rub his face in the feathers and bunny-kick the heck out of his crinklesock. Extra points if you sprinkle catnip on the interior materials during assembly.

As we see, Elvis is helpless in the face of “Crinkle Hiss Ding Dong.”

Poor Elvis – Tempted by The Tolerable Tunnel!

I know – that should resulted in a parody of Tempted by Squeeze (“Tempted by the Crinkly Tunnel”), but I can’t right now. :-)

Too bad Tabitha isn’t there to swat them silly or Baba mouse to swat them with her broom! Where are the people? Did they not know better than to plop down such a tempting toy and assume the cats would take turns? Somebody needs to put the fighting tigers in time out and give Elvis and Puck a turn. Elvis is too dignified, and Puck is too sweet to fight.

Beware flying fur in 3, 2, 1 …

Cats can be complicated

I really love elvis in this arc.

With paper bags, the excitement peaks when one cat put its head through the hole I have cut in one corner, gets bopped by the other cat on the rear, and jumps out of the bag, ripping it open. Quite thrilling in its own crinkly way.

Ask not for whom the bell tolls… JUST GET THE HECK OUT OF THE WAY!

I feel like this tunnel isn’t going to survive the rest of the week.

Puck is such a zen cat with other animals that Goldie, at least, should get the heck out of there if he’s angry.

My turn to ask for boops and prayers from the orb as i announce that my dad’s COVID test came back positive yesterday, despite being vaccinated. He’s in the high risk category and my mom and I are very worried about him. Also, my grandma recently was diagnosed with cancer, which she’s had four surgeries to correct. She keeps telling us she’d rather die than keep fighting. Thank you for your support in this rough time. <3

Puck has a case of the frustrations. I worry that he will be frustrated for a long time when it comes to Lupin and Goldie. After all neither one of them will give in first.

Elbiff certainly is intense. Perhaps he needs to intervene.

Well they have done it now. Puck is talking in all caps.

So, yeah… the tunnel I ordered yesterday after reading the strip showed up today :) I got the 26" one to get them used to it. Merlin (17+) went right through. Luna (11) is not so sure. Georgia the influencer :)
