Well, you two won’t be the first to concoct a plan to capture Santa and/or otherwise get proof of existence. As far as we know, no plan has yet been successful. (Beware, some plans have been known to land the planners on the Naughty List!)

My sister and I laid out some white poster paper in front of the fireplace, and Santa left some boot prints. We would never, ever have tried to capture him because that would just be rude, and we’d never see another present.

His attitude in panel one reminds me a lot of Kit Chase.

Had a black cat w/a tiny patch of white on his chest, follow me home from the bar just a couple houses down from ours. He followed me into the house and I gave him food and water, let him sleep in the house, and first thing this morning took him to the vet to see if he was chipped. Nope! I had been calling him, her, as he looked just like my Molly, RIP. The vet said it was an intact male.

Came home, and drove over to the white house next to the bar. No one home. Knocked on the other door and same thing. Opened the carrier and let him out. Felt HORRIBLE, but thought the people renting might own it as there was an orange tabby in the window.

Owner of bar texted me this morning and we were right on the button!!! The cat sleeps in their garage and is indoor/outdoor. The owner posted on FB about him. His name is Midnight!

Well, as I type this, he’s sleeping in the chair in the sun on my side back porch! I’m going to have to have a talk with this woman to try to convince her to have him neutered! Our 2 house cats were not happy having this stranger in the house last night. LOL Took most of the early morning trying to find our Zippy. She had hidden under the couch, which she never does.

Lupin knows the truth of, “It’s never too late to have a happy childhood.” Ahhh make that “kittenhood.”

I suspect Pucky is not going to be happy. Perhaps “swat Lupin” will be back on his to-do-list.
