Thanks to everyone who Sent responses re my rotator cuff surgery and tale of complaint re my. ER s incompetent service a month ago. Surgery was delayed until yesterday. I tore the cuff in august. The ER finished off shredding it in October. So yes I was forced to ha e an open replacement of the whole thing rather than a few stitches in the one God gave me. Thanks especially to messages from our gifted nurse FreyaRN and our Denny. Of course She Who Runs ThE Universe Via Australia intervened on my behalf too so our Robin is not banned. Thank God for a good surgeon, a good Hubby, and nerve blocks.

Oh, now I have to make a batch of sourdough waffle batter. It’s still warm enough so I can leave the batter on the counter overnight, and have them piping hot, with fresh blueberries and sliced bananas. It’s a great reason to get up in the morning!

For such a simple story line, today’s comic is mesmerizing. Such pleasure on the children’s faces as they get to play their roles ! The waiter screaming WAFFLES right into the ear of the cook ! The girl flipping the waffle into parts unknown. Such JOY! It’s a pleasure to read, and always beautiful. Thanks Georgia !

Good morning. I would like to introduce myself. I am the person who answered the Facebook call to adopt Georgia’s dad’s cats. I brought them home yesterday, they are so lovable. The Orb does work and prayers are answered.

Anybody know what the short-order way to order waffles is?

That ain’t no waffle. Thees restaurant ees a beeg scam! Where be the darn health eenspector already?

But it will be a TASTY pot holder with butter and syrup !

I just completed a pattern for a crocheted waffle hotpad! It even has a “pat” of “butter” on it!!!

Waffles with a bit of honey-butter and a splash of real maple syrup…Mmmmm.

I’m hungry now.

Now me knows ya all cats peoples here but there a great treat for doggie lovers in todays SPEED BUMP. Not blames me if it steenks. You has been warned.

OT: I will never use a Discover card. I don’t mind a banner ad that covers an inch or two on the bottom of my screen here on GC. The Discover ad, however, CRAWLS repeatedly up my screen to nearly cover it. Yes, I know I should get an ad blocker but it’s annoying to have to do it when it’s really only the one ad that bothers me.

Credit where it’s due, the pot holder does indeed look approximately like a waffle.

I bet Nana could make a potholder taste delicious! Nanas are like that X

OT:Fireplace stuff

This arc reminds me of when I was maybe 3 years old. I had a nasty cold, or some other ailment, and my big Sister did this dance with a pair of clean underpants on her head just to amuse me. Something she would deny doing later in life. LOL Most of the time she had a general dislike for me. It lasted pretty much her entire life. She had been my Mother’s first born and liked being THE child. I spoiled that, but still…there were moments like this one. Almost like when Wednesday Addams goes after the water polo team, pretty sure that’s what they were, for picking on Pugsley. She says, nobody torments my little brother but me. Then she releases the Piranhas into the pool. LOL

It’s a wonder Ora Zella isn’t taking aim at that waffle /target / pot-holder with her Shot gun! Lol. Yes, I’m sure she has such a weapon. Heck, she has a chainsaw!

I hesitate to think what the syrup will be.
