    As a kid, I felt that I would never like a pie, or anything, that is filled with pecans (nor walnuts on a sundae); it wasn’t until my late 30s, I think, that I tried a slice of pecan pie and realized that I had made a mistake (and on my sundaes, I allowed walnuts (and ate them up before digging into the ice cream).
