If it’s still in good condition, it would be fine. You can use it every year and save money on the real ones, plus not have to go to all the trouble of choosing one every year just to throw it out after Christmas.

It has to be one of those fake Christmas trees that you put together. In fact, we just got one of those a few years ago, after years of going out and picking out a Christmas tree.

Had that been my childhood Christmas Tree it would have been silver on a rotating stand with a spotlight that changed through 4 colors. Nothing screams 1960’s Christmas more than that.

Jill, it is very special to him. It recalls his childhood. Use it if it is usable. You can get a small ‘live’ tree too if you want.

I get picking out a tree is a fun tradition, but I always loved when we pulled out the big box and the whole family works together to put the tree up while listening to Christmas music on the radio the Saturday after Thanksgiving! Plus you didn’t have to watch a tree die over the holoday season or say goodbye, as Paul has not said goodbye either apparently;]

We never had a real tree growing up. I never got a real tree as an adult. We have the same tree we bought 30+ years ago. Nothing wrong with that.

I’ve only had a boxed tree once…during covid…we’re back to picking out a “live” tree and we keep it up for quite awhile because white pines don’t lose their freshness like other trees…and they don’t drop their soft needles.
