And boy, is Hobbs excited at the prospect!

Too many centuries of experience with males of the species.

Given their past interactions, she probably know Calvin has some kind of trick waiting for her

“Suzy, want a tootsie roll? Freshly tooted!”

So, Hobbes is Calvin’s only hope now?

Cynical is better than gullible.

Frankly, these kids are pretty darn cute.

I know this comic strip was innocently drawn in the 1980s, but unfortunately, in the 2010s, it’s now controversial.

@tripwire45: Only if one tries to apply today’s gender consciousness to relatively innocent children of an earlier time or to those who drew the strip with that innocence in mind. Given today’s attitudes, even Tom Sawyer and Huck would be considered juvenile delinquents. Not a pretty picture

I’m with you Suzie, since when does quicksand mound upwards around Calvin’s body it should be flatter on the surface.

Cynicism helps me keep going in the right direction.

I notice he isn’t asking HER to pull him out.

It’s Sunday… and I’m looking at Saturday’s comic. Has GoComics ended the Sunday editions of C&H???

Is this the end of the C&H reruns, without even a final “Let’s go exploring!?”

To everyone who’s wondering where the strip for 01/07/2018: Either it’s a little late to update, or they just forgot to update it today. But I’m sure that the Calvin and Hobbes reruns have not ended.
