Girls are not obnoxious; they just have enough judgment to not like you.

I always knew Calvin had a big head but this is ridiculous! Even if it is still smaller than I thought.

I personally think the machine just gave him a big head as a sort of placebo to make him feel smarter, since Calvin already has a big vocabulary and he doesn’t seem to have changed that much here.

To think, the Unified field theory was almost solved, but he was too bored to write it down.

A man finds a Genie in a bottle on a beach in California. His first two wishes were for wealth and a long healthy life, but he was struggling to find a good third wish.“I know, I’ve always wanted to see Hawaii, but I am terrified of boats and planes, so for my third wish I want a highway to Hawaii.” “Are you insane?” asked the Genie, “The engineering alone for such a project would be impossible, then there is the materials that could withstand oceanic forces, and don’t get me started on the union issues. Please choose something else, that it going to be nearly impossible even with magic involved.” “I see your point,” the man said, thinking it over, “Well… I have always wanted to know how the female brain works, how about that?” The Genie looked at him and sighed, “Did you want two lanes or four?”

Calvin will have better luck developing the Grand Unified Theory than understanding women. His attitude about girls will change when he’s a teen.

Well there’s his argument topic, he could try to prove that it’s girls who are obnoxious and not boys. Of course he would then end up disproving his own arguments.

“Have you ever tried talking to a woman?”

“Yes, and she was completely unreasonable!”

    “What happened?”

“I asked her why women are so unreasonable, and she got angry! Completely unreasonable!”

I’m a slow learner. Only after a divorce did I begin to realize that men and women weren’t alike. After reading books like “Men Are from Mars and Women Are from Venus” and a couple of years of therapy I was able to develop relationships that mostly worked. Girls (women) aren’t obnoxious, they just think differently than guys do. The hardest thing for men: not mansplaining.

Calvin’s big head triggered a memory of the 1955 film ‘This Island Earth’. A group of scientists were gathered to work with some ‘guests’, on a way to store nuclear energy. The fact that all of the ‘guests’ had huge foreheads and green skin didn’t seem strange to them at all. Still, if you suspended disbelief for a little, it was a pretty good movie, especially for 1955!
