Coach Tippit: I'm so glad you're joining us for our run today, Edith. Woman: Shall we do our usual 3-mile course around the lake? Edith: Three miles! There's no way I can do that! I'll end up stuck on the other side of the lake! Edith: Well, you better attach a global-positioning signal to me because I'm going to be stuck in those woods for a long time. I can't make two miles. Woman: In the interest of making some progress, why don't we let Edith pick the course? Doctors warn to be careful when you get dizzy during exercise. Edith: If you can't take it, sit down. Coach Tippit: This is going to be a lo-o-o-ng workout.
Assuming the diameter of the path around the tree is 25 feet, 68 times around the tree should roughly be a mile.
