Goat should have known better than to ask why when Pig said Bob did nothing to be in the dog house.
cdward about 12 years ago
Yes, but this Bob is famous. He has a show called “Bob the Doghouse Builder.”

Tomorrow, “Bob” will be floating in the pool…..Saturday, “Bob” will get his hair cut in a new, short style….Sunday, a gator will die….

How many Bobs are in this strip? There’s a croc named Bob, there’s Neighbor Bob- now Pig knows a dog named Bob…

The pig is called Pig. The goat is called Goat. Why isn’t the dog called Rex?

Did Pig get Goat’s goat?
Vonne Anton about 12 years ago
While Pig was visiting Bob, did that mean Pig was in the doghouse, too?

David Letterman used to have a dog named Bob. In the early ‘80s, Dave used to show short films shot from Bob’s point of view. Bob wasn’t the brightest dog in the world; he died after eating a Presto Log. I hope Pig’s friend has more sense.

In the arc where Goat went home to visit his family (and we found out his name is Paris), we saw that he and his mother were the only anthropomorphics in the family; all the others were on all fours eating grass.

“I just saw another of my friends, Bill. He’s out of his tree!”“Is he a lunatic?”“No he’s a raven.”“A raven lunatic?”“No he’s a raven. He was just out looking for food. Then there’s my friend Joe. Boy is he in the soup!”“What happened to him?”“He’s a crab. He got caught and made into soup. Oh and I saw another friend yesterday, Bob. He was in a real jam!”“No let me guess. He’s a bee, or a wasp? And he got stuck in an open jam jar?”“No, it was our neighbor Bob. He’d just come home from work and was caught in a real bad traffic jam.”“Please … make it stop!”

So, Mr. Pastis….how confusing is it when anthropomorphic animals DON"T strip?
burleigh2 about 12 years ago
I got it just fine… Pig is too literal to have made a gag like that. Pastis on the other hand… he can’t be helped. ;-)
