Jurassic Ark.

My mother used to insist Noah’s Ark had dinosaurs on it.She also insisted Rock Hudson was straight and “Jeopardy” was rigged.

But if the whole Earth was covered, where’s the waterfall? Oh, right, it’s the drain where all that water went into the center of the Earth, and became lava, then stone, which explains the fossils!!

The Bible does not teach that the earth was flat. The whole ancient world knew the earth wasa globe. It’s called watching ships go over the horizon. J

Debbie, I believe in the same things that you do, and I didn’t mean to make it seem otherwise. My Mother really did have a crush on Rock Hudson. Sadly, she died around the same time as he did.

i guess ignorance is preferable to just accepting that human beings are carbon based life forms on a tiny speck of earth in the vast endless universe. we are so insignificant that way. way too scary and little in the scheme of things , right?

Some people think the ark looked like this. Others willingly believe it did. To their loss, unfortunately.

That is the edge of the Earth that the second ark is falling off. There are some who STILL believe the Earth is flat and the Sun revolves around it.

What does “flat” mean?

Heck, why stop at just two arks? Maybe Noah built a whole fleet of them, not only for the dinosaurs, but also all the extinct plants and invertebrates.

Of course, we’d still need to explain how he fit several million species onto the one ark that did survive and kept them all fed and healthy for about a year. (That amount of time is not a typo. It rained forty days and forty nights, but the ark continued at sea for a long time while the waters dried up.)

To deny that this world is going through a unprecedented global climate change ( notice I did not say “warming” ) , is ludicrous. We are experiencing some of the most horrific climatic events in modern recorded history. Don’t believe me ? Ask all those poor people in New Jersey, New York, Connecticut etc.

Fire that can be fitted nasally; it’s a posssibility (the committee came out on that one a few weeks ago) but I prefer the option of ice splinters slowly drawn the back (not mine) without telling anyone what you’re doing..I think it might catch on but we have to see if the idea bounces in the board room.

Try this on for size: Genesis 1:1 takes place “in the beginning.” Billions of years ago. Then creative day one begins in verse 2. All six creative days are observed from the standpoint of someone standing on Earth, watching developments as they appear from that perspective. They were not 24 hours long, but many thousands of years long. Thus dinosaurs could come and go before man, or the scarcity of fossils in the fertile crescent might indicate they never came close to humans, or any distant ones were never brought by God to Noah to put in the ark. -Oh, and the Bible clearly says the earth is round, long before humans could reasonably conclude that it was (Isaiah 40:22 was already cited by another commenter). The Devil showed Jesus a VISION of all the kingdoms of the earth (Luke’s account says “in an instant of time.” Now that will bend your brain!).

I don’t understand why more guys don’t support gay marriage. We maybe wouldn’t look so bad if men like the ones you mentioned could openly take themselves out of the competition.

@Sturmmi14: You missed the point about the opaque atmosphere. The perspective given is “the surface of the deep”, below the atmosphere.
