As for Ronnie, he knew when to lie and when to raise taxes (12 times) and when to have his un-outed gay actor pals to dinner for a campaign fundraiser. Locally, we had a millage vote last yuear for the Sheriff’s office, The local repub massive majority voted against it. we are down to a quarter of that force. A county village that paid our county a nice sum to patrol it, now has to raise funds to hire village cops. And the ciunty lost an income. We had a snow storm at the end of the year, The state roads, interstate and the largest city nearby where i work. were cleared. I got home to find our city roads scraped down to ice, unsalted and not even dirt scattered on them. Took me 15 minutes to make three miles.
