I’ve long wondered about the tradition of leaving cookies and milk out for Santa. The cookies are fine but won’t the milk go bad, sitting out at room temperature for hours?
until you find out that “santa” has a potty mouth trying to assemble that damn bike during the night. or, that “santa” doesn’t like milk and cookies, because of his lactose intolerance and his diabetes.
it’s still possible to discipline without tipping over into abuse. Somehow my wife and I seem to have got it right, my daughter is 22 and wonderful. Clem, on the other hand, needs an “A Christmas Carol” epiphany and fast.
While any other time, it’s okay, right?!The only time Patty is tough on that kid is during Back-to-School Shopping.Back-to-school shopping is his kryptonite.

Is it terrible to say that I have always despised Clem? I toned that down for Christmas and all too!

Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening Robert Frost 1922
Whose woods these are I think I know. His house is in the village though; He will not see me stopping here To watch his woods fill up with snow.
My little horse must think it queer To stop without a farmhouse near Between the woods and frozen lake The darkest evening of the year.
He gives his harness bells a shake To ask if there is some mistake. The only other sound’s the sweep Of easy wind and downy flake.
The woods are lovely, dark and deep. But I have promises to keep, And miles to go before I sleep, And miles to go before I sleep.
Merry Christmas and don’t let the Trolls and Scrooges get you down!

I thought Clem spoke in that baby gibberish, that is hard to understand. Maybe I have him mixed up with someone else.
