Sometimes you love your kids so much, you could eat them. Other times, you wish you had…

I do agree it’s a biochemical reaction. I’m not so sure about the “design to spread our genes” part. I love my husband with all my heart and soul and I still don’t want to spread my genes.

I have a 2nd cousin married she and husband decided no children. They have two dogs. I feel sorry for them. And she is hardly home. Me my husband I wanted children he only two me wanted at least 3 we have two boy and girl. Both were joy when Calvin’s age. They grow up my daughter and I are very close, our son is close to his dad. Same manuerisms. I feel like I raised two different families as both are three years age difference. 30 years later no grandchildren son cannot get work, not married or dating, daughter is seeing a man has two dogs. Unless the dogs count.

I’m leaning toward agnostic. We get it from both sides.

Couples get dogs and then figure out that children are overrated. It is ok not to procreate.

it could be mistakes that spread the genes, but usually love(or lust) comes first.
