I thought the birds flew south for the winter in this comic…

Red means that it’s a Cardinal, and they stay all Winter.

Let the incessant pecking on squirrel’s head ensue! The little red bird has a point and needs to apply it liberally and literally upon his ‘roomie’.

The only thing I miss here in Ca. is cardinals. Such pretty birds!

I think that if the bird were a cardinal, it would have a crest on its head. I’ve never seen one without a crest.

Complain to management.

I’m sure Rose will help in relocating the squirrel.

This is the little bird that always misses the winter migration and stays behind. Rose and the family knows about it and feeds the bird.

Actually it looks big enough for the 2 of them. Squirrel fur would be cozy.

The bird might end up seeing “Chestnuts roasting on an open fire”.

If this bird would just remember to migrate with the rest of his flock….
