Lessee. Lucas: the exquisite company of Monsieur Smokey, and warmth (and presumably Donna and Pierre are around somewhere, too). Mona: cold as only a Parisian ex-pat from L.A. can feel, and homeless in N.J. Yup, I understand the guilty smile in panel 2 on Lucas’s face. This does not bode well for this cheesy “romance.”

“Stupid Lucas! Just because I flew all the way to Jersey so I can visit you doesn’t mean we’re together or anything, so don’t get any ideas!”

It isn’t like Lucas is more guilty of thinking of secretly flying to meet Mona than Mona of doing the same with him, though?
