A friend of mine and his daughter go every year to a Bug Feast, where various insects are actually prepared and served. It’s an annual tradition, and they love it. I, on the other hand, am not that willing to be experimental…

Had grasshopper tacos. With the right seasoning, they’re OK.

What would Buddy Holley (his actual name spelled correctly) say about eating his Crickets?

“Well that will be the day that I die”.

It is also my understanding that The Beatles name were inspired by The Crickets.

The old Sarge, who is also an old guitar player.

Nothing but Fender guitars since 1959.

The thing with preparing insects for eating is to toast them over an open fire so as to burn off the wings, legs and antennae – so they don’t look like bugs.

I understood that water bugs ARE roaches. In Calif. we always say roaches or cockroaches. Tennessee and North Carolina, I’ve heard them called water bugs.
