I would think by now Shannon would start acting like a normal child occasionaly. She’s been around Brad and Toni long enough for something to rub off on her.

The things a guy have to do to keep impressing the girl… even if it means dealing with the little troll.

Shannon has issues as can be expected for a child growing up the way she has, but I expect the Brad and Toni will file the rough edges off as she grows. Brad is turning into quite the mature gentleman. I hope there will be nuptials in the near future — this year anyhow. Luann’s off to college soon, Gunther and Rosa are bonding nicely. Maybe time to take it to the next stage?

She may be a pest sometimes, but shes just a kid. Brad and Toni understand this. This is why Brad has a bit more patience with her, and probably why Shannon likes to hang out with “Bwad” compared to Toni.

May I recommend Death by Chocolate, Chocolate Fudge Cake, Triple Chocolate Cake or at least Black Forest Gateau. Victoria Sponge Cake is not acceptable.

Toni jumped the gun on her “sweetest guy” comment to Brad he might of been trying to say “I’ll take her to the bus station” or better still “I’ll take her someplace, where she’ll never bother us again.” (Wicked West cackle for good measure)

I would’ve SMACKED that little brat across the face if I was Toni and she was talking to me like the way she did in panel one. NO parent or guardian should allow their child to speak to them in such a disrespectful tone. The stunning lack of discipline that parents implement on their children anymore continues to amaze me every single day. If I LOOKED at my father funny when I was a kid, I got an ass whipping. I never would DREAM of speaking to him like that, lol!

I still think they need their own strip. & The jacket she’s wearing that makes her look like a Dr. (a few comments back.) Dude, she’s getting Off work .That was in the closet.

Valentine’s day is over a week away. Shannon doesn’t need the cards immediately, and giving into her demands only spoils her worse than she already is.

Doesn’t everyone think it’s time for an engagement ring and a big yes.

Toni, yeah, he’s “the sweetest guy”— but let’s remember Nancy’s acute observation that YOU like, not sweetness, but danger. Toni might just be finding this relationship too comfortable to keep.*On the other hand, while buying Shannon’s cards, Bwad will doubtlessly pledge Shannon to secrecy and get something for Toni. Will Shannon be able to keep the secret? A stifled secret would make her explode.

Back to Saturday…. When TJ said “You two need to take Shower 101”, the sweethearts looked at each other with amazement! TJ actually had a great idea!

So now that Ann’s gone, Shannon is the villain? Sure, she’s insistent and desperately needs some manners, but teachers can be very insistent themselves. Time lapse comics, from shower, to work, doctor app. How did Shannon get to the fire station? Heck if that was my child I would be in jail for child abuse. Now days no more spankings, or standing in the corner. Now lets talk about it or have a time out. My wife and I raised three kids, we were very stict, but to this day our kids thanks us for being strict and loving, at the same time.

So what happened with the makeup thing… just dropped??? good grief…

Shannon is not spoiled. She is bratty because she lives in a chaotic world where too many grown ups have been untrustworthy. She is desperately trying to exert some control over her life. She will settle down as she learns that some adults will be there for her.
