I think he’s seen daylight once or twice.

Reminds me of how my brother rarely goes outside.

Only to go to and from school.

The lap = the couch for kids.

Soccer should fit Petey’s sense of ennui perfectly.

I knew what would happen once he remembered what he said yesterday.

I wonder if this one is on you tube? I’ll have to check.

I remember being forced into sports at his age. I hated every minute of it. Of course, that was baseball, which is MUCH more boring than soccer.

Try to look on the bright side, Petey. This experience could be the inspiration for several interesting dioramas. You might even get a shiny trophy!

I agree that, in general, Petey doesn’t “do” outside, but there is a bigger issue here, and that is sports; most dreadfully, soccer. Shudder!
