WOW! This is first time I ever laughed at anything Irving’s mom did or said!

Well, well. There is a little bit of good in Irving’s mom after all – not much but a little.
If you are going to have a long weekend, this was it. Warmest days of the year so far – even got up over 20C (68F) on Saturday and Sunday. Very little wind + lifting of the province’s fire ban created a perfect holiday weekend. The only downside, according to my neighbours, it is a week too early for good fishing. From what I saw, lots of sitting and drinking, very little dashing to the fishing rods.To my fellow Canadians who have today off, relax, enjoy the day. To everyone else, enjoy the day anyway.

Yes indeed, she has. I guess I’m one of the few that likes information and knows how to turn off the TV or computer when they repeat themselves too much. Knowledge is power, but I acknowledge that sometimes they tend to go on and on about the same thing.
Hello Cathy friends! First of all, THANK YOU to everyone who kindly sent their sympathies and commiserated with the loss of a beloved pet. You all are a fantastic group, which is why I make a point to come by often. We miss our dear Cleo, especially my husband (he was her favorite human) and it’s still rough to see her empty bed where she would sleep and watch us. I’m glad she’s no longer in pain though and she was dearly loved for 18 years and I know we’ll see her again one day. Have a great day, all!

I succumbed to her whole oh-woe-is-us “whine flu” almost 3 weeks ago when they first got there! When are these mooches who are contributing absolutely NOTHING to help C&I out around the house — either physically or financially — going the hell home, anyhow?!? Even Cathy’s (seemingly) never-ending shopping trips to the Mall are a lot more bearable than this and I find those strips to be downright tedious whenever we’re subjected to them every single day for a week (or more) at a time. I’m SO ready for this annoying storyline to be over with already! :-P

Hi, rgcviper! :-)
lightenup: I know how you’re feeling, Sis. Our little girl’s beds, bowls, and toys have long since been picked up and put away, but the PLACES where they used to be are still there … and they always will be (even if something else now occupies those spots). It’s so painfully difficult losing a beloved member of the family like that but just like you, I believe that I’ll get to see and hold my sweet little girl again someday too. Hugs, dear friend! ♥

Hello and Happy Monday, fellow Cathy fans. Hope everyone had a really nice weekend and day today. Continue doing everything you can to stay safe and well! :-)

Plenty of that flu going around right now today!
And no lockdown will help with Whine flu.

Yup—we all suffer from information overload now and then. Pretty mind-blowing that the DOW Jones is up over 900 points today, though (!).
HI, MOM. Hello, “Cathy” Clan.

I’m a radio junkie but I’ve been turning it OFF because I can’t stand the constant stream of horror stories. As a therapist, I know all too well what people are going through and that this horror story is not really ever going to end for way too many people.. I hope you had a happy holiday, hendelca.
