Well, I suppose the Panama Canal started with a guy, a shovel, and some time on his hands.

Merry day-after-Christmas, everyone. I hope you are all still glowing with the spirit of Christmas.

As for relaxing, well, I wish I could get something done. I was gone for a month, returned home few weeks ago to a huge pile of mail that I barely glanced at. I finally went through it all last night.

I will start off by saying it’s NOT Boxing Day (ok I know it is, but not in my world), it’s NOT Kwanzaa, it’s NOT the “day after Christmas”, it’s…. my BIRTHDAY! So Happy Birthday to meee!! I hope everyone enjoys my special day! ✰✰ヽ(•‿•)ノ✰✰

Things were simpler when I was young. All you had to worry about was someone running amok with the new labelmaker. :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LIGHTENUP! That is a much better celebration than boxing day has become – although we opened our boxes this morning as it was officially our first family Christmas morning. Happy Boxing Day to those who do know what it was all about – like Diat60 – distributing unwanted or worn out clothing and furniture to the servants and to the poor of the parish. Not a bad idea at all really.
