Clem: I'll have the bigger one!
Rose: They are both the same, Clem!
Clem: The one on the right is .08 ounce heavier. How many times are you going to weigh them?
No no, is also not used much any more. Use to tell kids, no no. Why? because, we said so. Our daughter burned her hand, when she touched the stove. It was a lesson learned the hard way. We laugh about it now. memories. Love & discipline, needed for child raising.
An insurance company tried to refuse payment because my car hadn’t had its 40,000 mile maintenance check. They relented when I pointed out that it had barely more than 20,000 miles on it.
I’m staring this one now, before I forget exactly which one because evidently the fact that Clem wears a boy’s swim trunks wasn’t good enough for some of “Clem is a girl!” fanatics
I agree, the children of many overly permissive parents need a really good spanking. I was not spared in my childhood and neither were mine, but mine also received much love and praise for all their accomplishments. I’m very proud of all 4 of them.
You’re right of course! I always knew Clem was a boy, a cousin. There has never been any strip that made it iffy. I am sure there have been plenty where someone says “He is a hog,” or something of the sort! “Clem is coming over. Do you want to do …. with him?”
