Yes, it’s very spring-like here….but perhaps not this upcoming weekend.

It’s around the freezing point here, but there is now over a foot of snow on the ground, and more is expected.

Our daffodils are just ready to bud, although the ones at the library face south and are in full bloom. Tulips up, hosta showing. Not long now.

My Crocus are up, the sun is shining, and the temp is hovering around 31. Oh yeah and they are calling for a major snow event next week, AGAIN, here in central PA.

I saw a photo of Punxsutawney Phil on Facebook yesterday. Seems he offed himself due to all the bad press about his predicting an early spring and a good part of the country is still in the throws of winter.

Today was in the 30’s. Spring sprang last Friday with temps in the 70’s, then it ran away. Sunday we got to experience all 4 seasons in one day as I woke up to snow on the deck. Later it sleeted, changed to rain and turned into a thunderstorm with hail by Sunday night. Caused flash flooding In many counties. It’s been cold ever since.I’m not sure what season it is anymore, but I’m still glad I don’t live further north.

Every time I look at the weather in family cities on my home page (I keep 3 day forcast for all there), I’m just happier to live in Phoenix. And reaching the 110 and above at high point just means it will still be warm enough after dark to enjoy the color clycling lights in my pool and have a delicious swim. It is already warm enough to have the stat at OFF and doors and bedroom window open all day and night. ;-D
