Kissy, kissy, kids! “The phone” is, I think, just a little humorous reference by Quill to their usual mode of osculation—though an e-pic of the epic smooch to Tiff would be a fun fire-starter!

Again, our girl can’t be next to Quill with out touching him. When he is anywhere near she always puts he best assets forward. Cute couple.

So it seems Evans hasn’t been to an airport in a while. I know here, gate access is passenger only.

With this much pent up frustration, it’s probably a good idea they won’t be at summer camp unsupervised.

Okay, check out where that other passenger is looking! Anyway, Luann & Quill will probably discover their relationship is more exciting when they communicate via their cell phones. Cell Phones will be the future killer of relationships & communication. Look around…people on dates talking on their cell phones during dinner, etc. Cell phones …if they haven’t already are probably responsible for a lot of problems in our society.

Oh I remember when we use to go to the gate to greet them when they arrive. Now we have to wait in the baggage claim.

“Quess #1: Quill will stay in Brad’s old room.”^Funny “Spoonerism”, by the way… As far as that is concerned, since TJ wasn’t generally regarded as a “threat” to anyone’s chastity (from Frank and Nancy’s standpoint), it would seem that is why they let him stay there… Quill would be a “threat”, however major, however minor… and in addition, perhaps they’ve learned lessons from permitting such a situation, without further measures taken==Also of note, is whether or not there will be accomodations at the camp….

Camp Director arriving? I can see it… “Close encounters of the third gate” or “Six degrees of destination (or accommodation)”…

There is one MAJOR flaw with this whole story line of the “summer” acting camp. Its not SUMMER in Australia, there it would be winter and therefor Quill would still be in school and not able to run off to some camp half way around the globe.

Question: WHY did dad come along? Doesn’t have Luann have her license by now? Tag-a-long Degroot can really cramp a girl’s style.

And Tiffany shows up about now …

At least she could find steady work as a “Disney Princess” stand in….

Quill flew into Hawaii and the Feds checked him out there. He ran into a guy flying to Pittsville too. His name is….. Aaron Hill!

Well, you are right, Tiffany can’t go on living like a teenager forever, or she really might burn out and wash out too. But that’s true of all the characters. I really shudder to think of what’s going to happen to Knute….and whether his relationship with Crystal can survive his becoming a street person…. I do pray Tiffany matures as time goes on. I don’t want her to be a two dimensional villain with no redeeming qualities, but a well rounded supporting cast member. Kind of like Veronica Lodge in Archie. Veronica could easily have been nothing more than villain and plot device, but instead she is a full fledged cast member, both loved and hated, but as real as a comic character can be! I really love Tiffany stories that show her outside of her battles with Luann, and demonstrate she has a life and existence of her own. The time TJ hired her to pretend Toni had moved, and for that matter when she was trying to help TJ corner Anne Eiffel with her William Shatneresque acting abilities:) Even poor little Tiff sitting all alone at her table with her autograph photos after her movie got pulled… Well anyway, speech over, I’m eager to see her arrive in this story arc! Go Tiffany!

@IamJayBluE - The Archie characters actually devolved? I admit I only read Archie during a small time window in my early teens and it was always ‘poor sweet Betty vs. rich snob Veronica’. Thank you for your greater knowledge of the history of that book. What do you think though? Can Tiffany be ‘salvaged’? I love her already but everyday people here love to hate her, which is fine, there’s a need for characters like that too. But can she, and should she evolve beyond ‘total pain in the @$$’(as some see her) to ‘worthy rival’?

Maybe that WILL be the question now… is it “cue Tiffany, entrance stage right” time, now?

Yeah, that whole Ben thing was a good example…. -And Ithink you’re right… that it’s the wanting to be wanted, the need to be needed… it’s certainly manifest in Tiffany’s need to be the center, or her overestimation of her own social status or self-worth… and in Lu’s case, she may go through “esteem issues”, not being the most studious, or the most coordinated, the typical “B” grade type (as in school grades)… the girl who seems average (especially in her own eyes) and deep down has the need to be “in love” or, as you’ve stated, that at least nobody else is getting more attention, if she can’t… in this sense, Tiffany and Luann are so alike as you’ve said… they can’t see it, but it’s there as long as there’s competition for attention, in accolades or love interests… otherwise, they can at least be in the same room, like with the previous holiday visit to the senior center… ==It’s one reason I personally am looking forward to how “Camp Drama” will unfold….

And whether or not Tiffany might be looming around at the airport….

And the Gunther thing reminded me of what I have always seen to be the case… the guy that she “could’ve had” she didn’t want because he didn’t look like the kind you “show off”, or if they were available, it didn’t appeal to you, because there was no “dramatic chase involved”… but when that person finds someone, you tend to resent it… but if they were available again, you again take it for granted… vicious circle…

The only fit I remember over Ben came from Bernice because he emailed Luann more often than her. That was not Luann’s fault. Ben should have known better, but Bernice was the one whose jealousy was out of control.
