I will never buy watermelon flavored ice cream again.

Watermelon Gum taste kind of plain… I’d go with Grape or Lemon/Lime or Cola…

Watermelons from stores way too small do not taste like watermelons. My mom when we were kids did grow watermelons, cantaloupes, and strawberries. Great eating but we got tired of them. Now that was great tasting fruit.

Of corse you don’t have kangaroos hopping down the main streets of your cities. The crocs got them all.

I’m not a watermelon person. I’m more of a cantaloupe and/or honeydew person.

Your comments have piqued my interest, and makes me wonder if I would enjoy a long conversation discovering each other’s culture. I recently saw “Australia’s First Four Billion Years”. You have a most fascinating continent. From what little I have seen an interesting and charming people. I wonder how many commenters know that the star of The Mentalist is from Australia. Jason needs to chew less gum and eat more real food, and I like watermelon…wish I had some right now, I’ve got a craving.

Jason is right about one thing. Watermelon flavor in gum or candy or Kool-Aid does not taste like the real thing.

Artificial watermelon flavor is the worst!

If there is one flavor I can’t stand, it’s artificial watermelon. It makes me thirsty for some reason.

Now I love eating REAL watermelon, but just getting a whiff of someone chewing watermelon gum or eating watermelon candy makes me gag! Of course, my wife (bless her heart) LOVES watermelon bubble gum. NASTY!

“Grape”, “Strawberry” and “Orange” don’t taste like their counter parts either. Lots of others have had their flavors taken too.

Yeah, I guess watermelon gum doesn’t taste the same as real watermelon. To be honest, I hadn’t ever really stopped to think about it…
