Man: The country don't know about the work we do, an' they don't wanna. Man #1: Chip away at these conversations between women about their grandchildren. Man #2: This whole vein is Google searches for porn. Man: And here are some texts about... GOOD GOD! THE CANARY DIED! Man: LEAK! Everybody OUT! TWEEEET! Man: OUT! OUT! A leak to the PRESS can foul the data mines an' KILL yer career! Man #1: It's gettin' more n' more dangerous down there! Man #2: So...what do we do about that LEAK? Man #1: It'll blow over by the next shift. And then it'll be back to the ol' data mines! Man #2: ...to catch the whistelblowers! The End

I always thought “whistle-blowers” were good guy who make known the crooked stuff or illegal stuff to people .

I had to dig deep for a comment . After doing due diligence in researching my response to this, and being fueled by a desire to unearth some pithy, I realized that I was simply strip mining.

I think that we should be suspicious of any concentration of power. Sure, unions are not to be trusted but they don’t threaten our freedoms as much as multinational corporations do simply because they are not as big or as powerful.

Jimjammer forgot to make his weekly crack where he hilariously refers to the president as “the anointed one” as if liberals and democrats haven’t frequently criticized Obama (albeit for his administration’s actual policies instead of the nonsensical gibberish from the right’s fevered imaginings).
