At one time, I worked in an office that had Shell No-Pest strips hanging from the ceiling lights. Flies stuck all over them. When did those stop being sold?

More like indentured service – which was of limited duration. Ironically, the first legal case demanding lifetime indentured service as punishment – which opened the door to slavery in colonial America, was brought by a black man.
