I saw something the other day saying those who can remember they have forgotten are more likely to develop Alzheimers Disease than those who simply forget.-At least I THINK that is what it said, I forget.
All my young life I had a near-eidetic memory. It was darn near impossible to forget any event. Now suddenly I can hardly remember what I ate for lunch by suppertime. What a relief.
My memory is like a sieve most of the time. Weirdly enough I can remember things in perfect detail from a few years ago but yet my mind is blank when things have happened just a few minutes ago.

Gentlemen, it’s Tuesday. (Isn’t time for J. Wellington Wimpy to pay back Popeye for that hamburger?)

And I have never been mistaken. Thought I was once but I was mistaken.

My new watch has the date and day of the week on the dial. I sometimes sneak a peak at today’s day! It says TU today.

Any day I can sit up and take some nourishment is a good day, whatever it is.

Oops. I also sometimes forget to proofread before I hit submit. :-/

I find the date printed on the daily newspaper. Always correct, and in large enough print to read easily.

Love retirement. Thankfully I have a computer to find out what day it is…..if I want to.
