Yeah, they’ve been in the pool for almost two weeks, our time… they are going to be some pruney, raisiny people when they finally go back to school…Yep…. sunburned, and wrinkled….

No, I am a full functioning, happily married man (coming up on another double digit year of marriage this October, I might add), and I happen to have an affinity for wordplay, puns, and comedic irony, and also many varied subjects…… =You can look back in the past few weeks, or even further back than that… notice the threads, even towards the bottom of them… they’re chocked full of things that many posters contribute here in very creative ways…..some people here are good at creating humorous stories, giving anecdotes, and some of us here thrive in wordplay and “pop culture references” (like myself) and some posters like to provide a “musical playlist”, or their particular brand of humor… and some of us post back and forth on these various things, and more….. the thing that I posted above was “sponsors”…. my own creative way of tying in themes pulled from the day’s strip, with in-jokes and other references unique to this strip, or to pop culture, or other things in general… I don’t do that anywhere else but here…. I used to do it more elaborately, but I’ve since streamlined it, some… and if you’ll notice in some of the strip’s previous posts, many will tell you that the “Luann” board is chocked full of posts, with a variety of things that different people enjoy from different posters here, and it’s different from elsewhere on GoComics…what I do, is pretty much a part of that… ….

Actually, you’re the one last week who didn’t even know that the strip from last week was part of the storyline…. and people were posting to tell you, but you probably ignored them all…

In the newspaper version of this strip, the girl beside Tiffany (can’t remember her name) is shown in the shade thrown by her umbrella (what’s the point?)…kind of funny in itself…but not showing up that way in the colored version…

When girls claim they don’t wanna get wet at pools or beaches, they’re asking to be tossed into the water! Do it, guys!

Actually, she did lose her top, or about 70% of it. I wonder how many newspapers will print a re-run strip instead of today’s installment. The “Washington Post” replaced a couple of “Judge Parker” strips in mid-August because they thought a particular bikini worn by a well-endowed character was too revealing.

Why are some of you wanting to see the drab Bernice? She’s probably in a dark corner wearing a long sleeve shirt, pants and wide brim hat. Don’t you remember she did that last time (it was embarrassing to see) so why should this be any different?

Gunther is only looking to help her find her missing top so she can put it back on a quickly as possible. He is scared of the female body.

I get annoyed when people call anyone who dares disagree with them, or even disagrees with the majority, a troll. I also wish that the internet had not decided to use a word that I was already using as a swear.

I was actually surprised at how revealing the strip was today. Most revealing strip ever?

Where did all these trolls come from? This strip has a plethora of multifaceted comments that should provide amusement for all.

Do girls ever really lose their tops?

See how Evans doesn’t let the fellows show any of the affect one would expect 17- or 18-year-old guys to show when a hot girl yells she’s lost her top. They look like they’re whipping around when someone yells “Help! I’ve been hit by a car!” Or something.
