My guess is that the roads were getting progressively worse, and taking percautions, Roddney had the climbing gear with him. Sounds like the roads in my home town.

Political corruption is responsible for MUCH more than just the road conditions all over the US…..

I remember in the ‘70s when Phila paper had photos of its Largest Pothole in America, with just the rear of a lady’s cadillac protruding

Looked like one of the sinkholes in Florida. lol

I see…the kingdom of Id must be somewhere in southern Michigan…

I’ve never understood fixing potholes and putting up speed bumps. Looks to me like the potholes do the same trick and are just as good for your car.
