Gone are the days where you could use the excuse that the check is in the mail. Or mail the phone bill to the electric company and the electric bill to the gas company in hopes of buying a few extra days.Everything is electronic payments and direct deposit. Where I live, there is no mail delivery.
The last election I was living in Florida. I wore out two mute buttons on my TV remotes, ripped the phone out of the wall and darn near burned down the mail box with a bonfire of political campaign brochures and flyers.
