It must really gall GT that there so much great material about bumbling incompetents in government that he could be satirizing if it wasn’t for he fact that they’re Democrats.

now I’m stuck here wondering if it’s kol-ram or kolram but broken over two lines

From the partial sign, it looks like he’s at the San Diego Comic-Con. And he’s got a new book out. Maybe he’s learned how to budget this time.

They are for us old folks who have seen the rerun before, but don’t remember it.

Don’t worry, rp, there are still LOTS of bumbling incompetent anti-American republicans if GT wanted to do political satire.

It’s comicon. Annual convention of fantasy, sci-fi, and comic lovers from everywhere. The next one is in New York in October.
I met Trudeau at a comicon. Nice guy. Signed a collection for me.

If it’s a repeat, it’s a repeat from earlier this year. In the sign in panels 3 and 7 it says 2013.

When I was at Denver Comic Con in June, autographs went for $35, except for Shatner, who was charging $75.

In panels 3, 4, 6, and 7, the horned one appears to be wearing a headset mic. In panel 5, I don’t see it. What is that?
Hectoruno over 11 years ago
In panel 5 his head is turned so the mic is hidden by the collar

The political strips have disappeared because Obama is looking like a fool these days and Trudeau is of course, ignoring that fact.

This is a new strip, not a re-run. My local newspaper ran the strip in the Sunday paper. It does not run Doonesbury when it’s a rerun. Those who want political satire criticizing Obama have several other venues. GT has the right to pick his targets.

Good points, LWP. And it is good to see you back! Too bad we never hear from DT anymore. It has been a long time.

Could that possibly be Rick in the last panel?

He should have left his phone number so that “mom” could give it to “daughter”

Veeerrry famous in Nigeria, but neither one has managed to get a toehold in US Top 40 radio. Think of an African version of Tower of Power.

There were TWO sexy Orion slave girls on ST:TOS. Susan Oliver in the pilot episode The Cage, and Batgirl Yvonne Craig in Whom Gods Destroy. NERRRRDD.

Yes, it must be tough when all the problems you can make fun of are coming from the side you like to promote. But Democrats are no different than Republicans when it comes to being SOBs

I heard Amadou & Mariam at a festival this year, made me realise i really ought to listen to more African music. Very accessible but very different, and nothing like the manufactured reheated leftovers of the charts. Which reminds me; can I please apologise on behalf of my country for sending you One Direction…
