And so it begins. The anonymous Jury System would at least prevent battles between different followers of politicians. Still wonder how the system was manipulated to break down.
@veteran: Thanks for answering the question about Cooper. I read all of Endtown from the beginning but it slipped my mind somehow.Realizing that going topside is very dangerous, I called being in Endtown only a plot endgame because I thought it would limit the possibilities for plots. Maybe not.
Here in Australia, we are going to have a Federal election in just over a week from now. I don’t think I’ve ever felt as uninspired by the candidates and leaders as I’m feeling this time around. Now, if we had carton animals brawling in the streets, THAT would be interesting.
This is shaping up just like the Edison-Tesla AC power-DC power grid wars. Pretty soon, one side is going to be setting up street-side demos, electrocuting dogs and cats…
Remember to support Endtown with your donations and purchases. The links are over to the right, and I am promoting those in hopes gocomics can tell advertisers we had this many click throughs that bought stuff, so gocomics can pay Aaron more. I dunno, maybe, I am just tired and wanted a separate support post in case my previous post Jus tasteless, or insensitive or worst of all, unfunny.
I’m assuming that Wally will take this as proof that Cooper was right and that he should join Holly in leaving Endtown. Personally I don’t see leaving the frying pan for the fire as all that good. The topside has always been tough, its getting picked over and the TS now have that eye in the sky. Still, having the delightful duo facing the odds upstairs would make for an interesting plot. I’m still looking forward to seeing that dunerunner.
When a door closes another one somewhere opens. Here is the chance for Wally if he is willing to take it.Neither Walter nor Jacob would make a good leader….it has to be someone no one expects. A neutral party, neither one way or the other, just right now laying in a hospital room shook up from unfortunate events. But it did not kill her, in fact it should make her stronger. She may have lost a baby. But right now Endtown needs a good mother.I vote Holly………..pundits be damned.
I had a comment disappear into cyberspace yesterday—-I think I clicked on the wrong button, and didn’t have time to recreate it, so I’ll throw it up here again.#Something got me wondering how Endtown handles the third branch of government—-the judicial branch. Do criminals get tried and sentenced, and what do they get sentenced to? All we’ve seen of a trial is the “milk trial,” which was presided over by a High Council composed, apparently, of nobody at all, and lawyers who were (theoretically) concerned citizens stepping forward. How do they handle ordinary crime? What happened to Cliff Dunbar and Terry Bradley?
I’m glad that Walt is stepping in. His plan to recruit more police officers should help give Jacob a run for his money.Still, it looks like Endtown is going to have another riot on its hands.Rock-throwers better think twice!
What I said was participate or stop whining. I or someone I knew was at the County Clerk’s Office all day election day watching the ballots be counted. I’m not saying nothing could happen, but it minimizes the possibility of it happening when witnesses are present especialy from both (or better yet, more) parties.
Veteran,Holly for President? Two questions. Does she have any leadership experience beyond keeping the waitresses under control in the Endtown Cafe? Will she be able to put her foot down when things get out of hand? I know how easy it is to love Endtown’s little mouse waitress but I have trouble seeing her transition from candidate to President.
