True story: I once lived with a cat that refused to wear a collar. It would resist having them put on, and always found a way of squeezing them over its head and removing them once on.
Then one day, we got it a leather studded collar. For that one, we met no resistance, and no removal attempts. From that point on we always imagined that it refused the other collars on the grounds of “Are you crazy? That colour with my ginger fur?”
But probably the studded collar gave it an edge in fights with other cats and it knew it…

Shouldn’t choke the hand that feeds you, Cybil.

That collar is much too big to fit on your typical flea.

One particularly bad year, I had to spray my carpets to get rid of the fleas that my dogs would bring back from their walks.

My cat had a collar, and she kicked it so much, it looked like a fuzzy pink spike collar.

No flea dare mess with a cat like Cybil.

Animals that sleep in the same place every night are generally a lot more likely to get fleas than ones that move around, or so I’ve read.

Can you even buy those anymore? I haven’t been paying attention. Also, as a sidenote, has anyone ever noticed that Mucinex smells like a flea collar?
