HD, 260 channels, Dolby surround sound, etc. just to watch reruns of shows that have been off the air for thirty years, or movies that were made either before you were born, or went straight to DVD !,
As a fan of “Bewitched” I was astonished to see a episode from 1964( black and white) that I had never seen before. Antenna TV shows old half hour episodes in order 4 times a day…
My favorite is that Lucille Ball had her show recorded in color because she was convinced color television would exist and be common. She personally paid the difference..She also worked cheaply as long as she retained ownership of the product after the initial showing. Others didn’t think anyone would watch reruns even though plays from thousands of years back were being watched currently..She was a genius for seeing the obvious.
